Dennis, my man, hundred grand. Unless you have been under a rock, you know doubt have heard about Dennis Rodman's hall of fame speech. When Dennis was going to be inducted, folks didnt know what to think. Yet, for the most part the brother was on his best behavior for Dennis.
It was disgusting watching him wipe snot away from his nose piercings, that is not gangsta Dennis. It was heart wrenching needless to say. One thing is clear, Dennis knows he is battling demons. Whether its abandonment issues, or alcohol, Dennis admitted as much that he was surprised that he was still alive. Reportedly, someone is working on a documentary on Dennis and Dennis admitted that he hoped to be alive when it comes out. Scary.
Now, I love Dennis Rodman's game. There was not a better rebounder in the game. Micheal and Scotty know those last 3 rings would not have been possible without Dennis. He was the man and deserves to be in the hall of fame. I dont want to touch his outside the court activities. I read his book and found it amusing needless to say. His game was hardcore and he played the game the way basketball is meant to be played tough and hardnosed. Congrats Dennis.
Now having said that, I do believe you are a good guy, Dennis. Misunderstood perhaps on purpose but a good nonetheless. I remember the scene you set when you was in your pick up truck with a shotgun, getting ready to kill yourself. Look at those babies, bruh. The ones you readily admitted you wasn't good father to. They need you to beat those demons. After all, who is going to show them how to fight their demons Dennis? Be strong. Get it together. God loves you. You may or may not know that, but if nothing else, love yourself dude. Love yourself.
